Horror show of overcooked bitter meat in oily puddles on the plates.The fish was tiny and covered in leathery skin. Its cause of death was most likely dysentery or some other disease... maybe leprosy.The salad/garnish consisted of a handful of wilted rocket. It neither looked nor tasted good.The staff were either old and completely disinterested or young and clueless.Avoid if at all possible!
The meals were amazing, fast, delicious, fresh. The fish and chips were great, my Parma was one of the best I've had and the salads and veg were way better than your average bistro. Adults and kids very happy, we'd definitely go back - best meal of the holiday by far
Good looking heritage pub. Counter meal lunch special was great value and included a pretty reasonable salad bar. Get a table out the front under the versndah and it makes for a very plesant meal.
